Mobile Rotary Atomizers

How they work
Mobile rotary atomizers work on the same principle as conventional rotary atomizers. Mobile rotary atomizers use centrifugal action by a spinning inner mesh to force droplets through an outer mesh which “cuts” the water into atom sized particles. Mobile rotary atomizers produce a spray which can project forward up to 75-lineal feet by using the spinning head to produce millions of microscopic droplets of water – typical water droplet size in the 50-30 micron range.

What they do
Mobile atomizers are designed to be self-sufficient and mobile. Mobile rotary atomizers provide a means to suppress odors and dust in large outdoor areas where nozzle systems can not achieve the coverage necessary to suppress fugitive odor emissions.

Where they fit
Mobile rotary atomizers are typically found in areas where water and electricity are in short supply. With a 200-gallon water storage capacity and an available on-board generator, they have proven to be effective in landfills, quarries and aggregates operations.

Why to use
Mobile rotary atomizers are typically used to control odors at landfill sites and fugitive dust emissions from surfaceways, aggregates operations and quarries. The mobile rotary atomizer is self contained and does not require “shore power” or a water supply connection. However, the mobile rotary atomizer can be connected to an on-site power supply and/or water supply, should the need arise.

Coverage and flow
Mobile rotary atomizers can provide up to 100-lineal feet of spray in a 10-degree pattern. With eth wind at their backs, the coverage is even greater. Past studies have shown residual materials and scent detected up to 1-mile away. Typical flow rates range from .25-gallons per minute (gpm) up to 1-gpm.
